General rules

Early registration for DDECS 2014 will be available from March 3 through March 16, 2014. Early registrations are subject to substantial discount – see table below. Please read this page prior to registering through the ConfTool participant registration page. If you are not an author, you will be requested to set up a user account first.
Authors are required to register and make the payment not later than the early registration deadline. Otherwise the Author's submission will not be published in the proceedings. In order to be published in the conference proceedings, each accepted regular paper must be accompanied by at least one regular registration and each accepted student paper must be accompanied by at least one student or regular registration. Student registration is only available to presenters of student papers.

The registration fee includes:
  • conference package,
  • admission to all sessions, lunches, coffee breaks, welcome reception, and social event,
  • proceedings (print + USB stick).

Additional items (early registration only)

  • extra copy of proceedings (print version): €20,
  • extra page in the proceedings (not applicable to papers accepted as a poster): €80,
  • extra ticket for the welcome dinner on April 23: €50,
  • extra ticket for the excursion and conference dinner on April 24: €80.

    Make sure to cover all the transfer charges etc. so that the full registration fee reaches the conference account.

You will see the payment instructions during the registration process through ConfTool.

Invoices

If you need an invoice, please enter the name and address of your institution on the Registration Form. The invoices will be mailed to the users after the conference.

Cancellation and refund

Cancellations received by March 16, 2014: 10% is held as administrative fee.
Cancellations received after March 16, 2014: no refund will be made.
All refunds will be processed after the meeting.

Registration desk

The registration desk will be located in the lobby of Hotel BOSS (the conference venue). The desk will be open

  • from 7pm to 9pm on April 22,
  • from 8am to 9am on April 23.
